How I Write My Emails: Authenticity Over Perfection

Yesterday evening while I was speaking with a friend of mine who happens to be the founder of Talent Prospect UK.

I casually mentioned how I write my emails.

Now, I'll be the first person to tell you it's not the coolest email strategy in the world.

Nor is it something worth modeling.

But here's how it works for me:

When it comes to writing emails to YOU,

I never really know what I'm going to say ๐Ÿ’ฏ

I just sit down in front of my laptop and start typing (like Iโ€™m doing right now).

Usually, I'll start with a brief update on what's been going on in my life and business.

It could be how my mom caught me stealing meat from her pot ๐Ÿ˜…

or how my girlfriend broke up with me in the most cruel way.

Then, I'll move on to sharing some thoughts or insights that have been on my mind.

The important thing is that I just let the words come out.

I don't overthink it or try to make it perfect.

I just write from the heart and send it off.

And you know what?

People seem to appreciate that.

They can tell that I'm not just regurgitating some marketing messages.

They can feel the realness.

And that's all that matters

So, whenever I write emails, I make it so entertaining that people will start to worry if they miss an email from me.

That's how I do it.

So, if you ever feel stuck or uninspired, just sit down and start typing.

The words will come. I promise!

And if they donโ€™t, just go and sleep (Yousef don try). ๐Ÿ˜…

The bottom line is that sometimes you don't need all those abracadabra to come up with something interesting, relatable, and educational.

You just need to sit down and bring out what's in your head.

You grab?

Happy Sunday!

Your friend โ€” Isaac
