Jesus: A Marketing Genius?

Looking at Jesus Christ's lifetime

Here are the questions I ask myself 

How was he able to spread his message to billions of people around the world? 🤔

How did he create such a loyal and passionate fan base that continues to grow and Influence the world today? 

Here are 4 things I found out about him…

…that makes him a marketing genius.

1. He identified his target audience:

Jesus did not try to reach everyone with his message 

He focused on a specific subgroup of people within Jewish society 

He became one of them and spent most of his time with them

He spoke their language,

Understood their needs and...

Shared their struggles.

He also chose his core marketing team, the Twelve from among this group.

By identifying his target group and putting himself in their shoes...

Jesus was able to establish the KLT factor

(Know, Like & Trust)

Remember people only buy from those they know, like, and trust 🤔💯

2. Building a strong brand:

Jesus consistently communicated his value proposition 

• Love

• Forgiveness &

• Salvation... to his audience 

He used powerful storytelling and parables to connect with people on an emotional level...

…Leaving a lasting impression on his brand.

3. Leveraging word of mouth:

Jesus understood the power of word-of-mouth marketing long before it became a buzzword in the business world.

So he empowered his followers to;

Spread his message by...

Creating a network of advocates who shared their experiences with others.

4. He was value driven:

Jesus offered a high-value reward to get people committed.

Things like:

• Eternal life

• Forgiveness &

• Personal relationship with God.

An OFFER so irresistible that you’d feel stupid if you don't act on it.

He also showed SOCIAL PROOF and demonstrated his AUTHORITY by:

• Performing miracles

• Healing the sick &

• Raising the dead.

By doing this,

He was able to attract and retain the most loyal and passionate followers.

He changed the world with his message 

And in business today,

Your message determines your success or failure!

And that's what makes him a marketing genius.
