I screwed up my 2024—But here’s what’s next
Hey there,
Let me just say it straight: I ghosted you 😭.
I know, I know—big wahala.
I gathered 100 of you amazing people, promised weekly emails, and then, like NEPA during a critical football match, I disappeared.
But you see, this year has been one kind.
I’m talking about the type of year that makes you sit down, look at yourself in the mirror, and say, “Isaac, na you dey do yourself.”
It hit me: I’m the problem.
Not my parents, not Tinubu, not the price of basic commodities (even though that one na different matter entirely). ME.
I’ve come to a realization that…
I built a cage for myself, locked myself inside, and—get this—I even have the key.
But instead of unlocking it, I’m sitting there looking like, “Hmm, maybe tomorrow.”
Then came June 30th. I quit my job.
There’s a lot to say about that, but let’s save the gist for another day.
It was freeing, scary, and a little bit of both.
Suddenly, I had all the time in the world to chase my dreams, but no one to blame if I didn’t.
That’s when I learned:
Discipline is underrated: Nobody will drag you out of bed when you’re your own boss. You either do the work, or you don’t eat.’
Fear is real, but so is growth: Quitting my job felt like jumping into Third Mainland Bridge traffic. But the truth? You can’t grow in your comfort zone.
Start, even if it’s rough: Waiting for the perfect moment is why most people remain stuck. I’ve learned that imperfect action beats perfect procrastination every single time 💯.
This year also made me focus on what truly matters.
I’m transitioning into content and marketing automation—helping businesses scale smarter and you know what? 🤔
My US Client is so loving what I’m doing for her.
That’s something to be proud of 🙈 I know.
Marketing automation is the future, and I’m planting my flag here.
Long-term vision, AI-driven strategies... you get the gist.
Now, as we move into 2025, I’m fixing my nonsense 💯.
I’m choosing discipline, consistency, and taking action on my goals.
Less talk, more results.
And if you’re in the same boat—whether it’s a new business idea, a personal goal, or just finding yourself again—know that it’s not too late to start.
Thank you for sticking with me, even when I disappeared like fuel during scarcity 😅
I appreciate you 🫶🏽.
Let’s make 2025 the year we stop holding ourselves back.
Talk soon (and this time, I mean it) 💯
Your friend - Isaac ❤️
P.S. If you’ve ever ghosted something important (or someone), how did you bounce back?
